Energy saving incentives – it’s the law
Following the enactment of the Energy Bill, the Energy Act 2011 has now become law. The Act includes the provision & definitions of the Green Deal incentives to assist homeowners overcome the capital outlay of installing energy saving products.

Starting in autumn 2012, householders will be able to install energy saving measures, such as improved insulation & solar panels, without having to bear the upfront costs. Instead, the Green Deal will provide financing for energy efficiency measures, which will be repaid through the savings on energy bills.
According to the Department of Energy and Climate Change’s (DECC) figures, over 50% of theUK’s residential properties have inadequate levels of insulation.
